Chain Glide Block Product Reviews
The blocks saved me a bunch of money as soon as I installed them. I had a Case 8230 and ran the clean grain elevator chain loose all but cutting the divider plate in two. Something had to be done. By putting the plastic blocks on, it gave the chain more surface area moving the wear area onto virgin steel. I also believe the plastic sliding on steel is better than the hard chain on the divider plate. After installing the blocks there was no additional noticeable wear. I now have a Case 9250 and I run the blocks on it as well.

The blocks have been money well spent. Before we started using them, we were having to repair or replace clean grain elevators about every 1000 hours. Since installing them (which is a breeze), we have yet to have to replace a clean grain elevator.
